Great Barrier Reef Tours

From Port Douglas you have the option of The Outer Reef which is 80 minutes away or the Low Isles which are 60 minutes away. Visibility is much better at The Outer Reef where you will be able to see an incredible selection of hard coral and marine life. The Low Isles offers soft coral and the opportunity to snorkel off the beach, turtles are often seen swimming by at the Low Isles.
Depending on your choice of day out you will have the opportunity to snorkel, dive (introductory or certified), glass bottom boat ride, view the coral from a semi-submersible, helicopter ride or take part in an ocean helmet walk.
Depending on the time of year you visit you may even see some Minke Whales – these are seen between the months of June and September as they migrate through the tropical waters off Port Douglas.

The Outer Reef
Departing daily from Port Douglas, Poseidon is a 24 metre catamaran designed for personalised dive and snorkel adventures as you visit 3 different reef sites on the outer Great Barrier Reef at the stunning Agincourt ribbon reefs.
Enjoy snorkelling in this marine wilderness, including a guided snorkel tour, or choose to scuba dive (additional cost). Certified and Introductory divers can enjoy up to 3 dives. With freshwater showers, a licensed bar, air-conditioned saloon and open deck areas, Poseidon makes a perfect setting to enjoy a day on the reef.
